| I've always looked up to the WTC towers. When I first moved to New York, in 1979, my first project was to do a series of sequential photographs of buildings. Recently, looking threw a stack of old prints, I found a print of the WTC, made up of six images, on the back, I had typed, "project one, building one". They tower above many a photo I've taken. In one of the first shows I was in, in NYC, I showed a photo of a photo, taken from the front page of The Daily New or The Post, of a man jumping off the WTC, from 1980. Right after this original photograph was snapped, the man jumping, opened a parachute. It was a shocking photo all the same. | |||||||||
